So I somehow managed to get my hands on that skirt. The
first time I spotted it was on Cara Delevingne in the Topshop AW campaign and thought it
was right up my street, However after seeing Alexa wearing it at the London Fashion Week Topshop SS15 Unique show, I knew had to have it. That girl looks amazing in everything,
I reckon she would look good in a bin bag. Then I’d go out and buy one and I
still wouldn’t look half as good as her, she really is the queen bee of fashion.
I found it so hard not to style it in the same way she did, so I went for something
a little less "cutesy". Although I was a little wary of looking a bit
like Kat Slater from EastEnders, but hopefully I’ve managed to get away with
not resembling her. For my non-UK readers Google her, you’ll soon see what I
mean she’s pretty big on animal print.
I’ve been trying to decrease my wardrobe
collection after being inspired by Anna’s Autumn/Winter Wardrobe Clear-Out video, however
that’s just not working for me. I just want to buy clothes all the time, I
honestly think it’s an illness, in fact I’m sure most bloggers suffer from the
same problem… Although I did pick up one helpful tip from her video, which is
put my summer clothes in storage somewhere else in my room. This means I’m more
likely to use my winter pieces and I won’t have to go rummaging through crop
tops and summer dresses to find what I want. You can watch the video here if you want to be inspired, I've been absolutely loving her videos and blog posts recently. She's so friendly and gives such good advice, I feel like I'm watching one my friends. I'm thinking of doing a whole blog post dedicated to my favourite fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers, let me know if this is something you'd be interested in seeing or not.
