I need to start off this post with a massive apology, I realised earlier on this week that I haven't done an outfit post in over two month. If I'm honest I've been finding it hard to put outfit posts together when all I want to do is stay in my dressing gown. I'm sure my fellow fashion bloggers will agree with me! However I'm determined to make sure that my blog doesn't get left behind anymore. I also want to work on more of a schedule as I'm going to need one once I go into full time work again!
I was given this lovely gingham Motel dress by my sister for Christmas. It's a great piece for any time of the year as it can be layered for the colder months but is thin enough to be the perfect summer dress. The flower detail around the waist makes it a great piece for the festival season or even something to throw on whilst at the beach. However I wanted to be able to wear the dress now, so I decided to team this dress with this black floppy hat which I picked up from Primark for the bargain price of £8. I think having a hat like this is a great addition to your winter wardrobe as it can really tie your whole outfit together. Unfortunately Primark doesn't have it's own online site (which is SO annoying) so I had to find some more expensive alternatives for you all, I've added my favourite below.
P.S For those of you who are wondering what's on my lips, I'm wearing MAC, Ruby Woo with Maybelline lip liner in the shade Hollywood Red.
