Speaking about life after university is something I’ve wanted to blog about for quite a while but I couldn’t find the right time to talk about it. It’s been just over a year since I’ve left and it finally feels like the right time, Marks and Spencer asked me if I wanted to talk about style evolution and I thought the two would tie in perfectly!
I left BIAD with a 2:1 in visual communication specialising in photography. I’ve written a whole post about my university experience, so if you want to find out a bit more about that please do go and take a little look! After leaving uni I went straight into an internship and at a luxury lifestyle and travel PR agency, I was only meant to be there for one month but before I knew it I’d been there for four months! I then joined Biscuiteers as an intern for two months, gave myself a break over the new year then leapt right into another internship for a month at a film and entertainment PR agency. After applying for a lot of jobs I got myself a job back at Biscuiteers as the marketing assistant. Since then I have fully immersed myself into working full time, adapting to a working wardrobe and learning lots of new skills. I absolutely love fashion but knowing what to wear to work everyday is a bit tricky! This dress from M&S is perfect for the ever changing English weather and will easily transition into Autumn with a pair of cable knit tights and Chelsea boots, and more importantly it's office appropriate! Working full time has also meant I’ve been able to save for holidays and experience things I wouldn’t have been able to usually afford before. Including my two trips to Barcelona and New York I have coming up this summer, which I am just beyond excited about! Expect lots of  fashion and lifestyle blog posts from my travels.
P.S I'd love to hear you post/current university stories, leave them in the comments below!
