This time last week I was spending my day walking around the streets of Amsterdam, popping into cute little shops and finding the next place to have a quick stop and I'll be honest, try to connect to the wifi. As a vegetarian I always worry if I'll find somewhere to eat and if there's enough options. I can't believe it's 2016 and sometimes they'll only be 1-2 veggie options on a menu! I had jotted down this cafe/restaurant (Coffee & Coconuts) before I left, and hoped I may stumble across it and one day we did. Not expecting much I was in awe of the building once I stepped inside, the interior had a cool surf shack vibe from everything to the toilets to the menus! My boyfriend and I liked it so much we went two days in a row.
The first night we chose drinks and nibbles as we had lunch pretty late that day, the following afternoon we went back to fuel ourselves before getting ton the plane. I had the avocado and scrambled egg toast, topped with olives and feta. I'm not a huge egg fan, in fact I rarely eat them however these were absolutely delicious and they may have even converted me to eat them more often! I found that there was lots for me to choose from on the menu as well as plenty of delicious cakes at the bar. I would definitely recommend visiting Coffee and Coconuts, if your in the area. It can be found at: Ceintuurbaan 282-284, 1072 LR Amsterdam, Netherlands
I have a couple more Amsterdam posts coming up, so be sure to keep an eye out for those!
