I'm back, for now! As you may or may not have noticed, I've not posted in a little while. That's simply because I’ve not had the time and I’ve not got anything to write about. As I said a few posts ago I want to make sure this year I'm putting out content because I want to not because I feel that I have to. Seeing as I absolutely love my new Beverly Hills vacation top from Wildfox and you guys seem to love outfit posts, I'd put this post together. I absolutely adore this top, I've known about the brand, Wildfox for quite a while but couldn't ever justify buying anything from them, over £100 for a pair of PJ’s? I don’t think so. However when I spotted this top on the ASOS website and I immediately fell in love, I popped it in my wishlist and waited for a 20% off code to crop up before snapping it up. Even with the discount it was still quite a lot for a t-shirt but I just love everything about it so I'm pleased that it's now mine!
Yesterday I wore this outfit as I spent the day with my boyfriend celebrating his 28th birthday. As it was Mother's Day weekend we had a difficulties finding things to do as it was all booked up despite wanting to book weeks in advance. We decided to visit the Picturehouse Central cinema and see Hail, Caesar! (FYI I wouldn't recommend it) and then finish off the evening eating at our new favourite restaurant The Ivy, Chelsea Gardens. I absolutely love eating at this place, I've only been twice but I just really like the atmosphere, I feel like I'm eating a fancy restaurant from a 90s film, but I mean that in the best possible way. It's not got exposed brick walls and copper pipes like everywhere else seems to have, there's a really lovely cosy and luxurious feel to the restaurant. My only complaint would be is that the menu is lacking in vegetarian dishes (there's only two options on the main menu) but what they do have is pretty great!

A little while a go I posted a photo of me wearing a very similar outfit to this one on my Instagram and quite a few people seemed to like it! So I thought for my second post of 2016 I'd put a ootd blog post together so you can see the full look. These photos were taken last weekend on a very chilly Kings Road, I love spending my weekends there as they have a few of my favourite shops including Brandy Melville, Lush and Anthropologie, not forgetting the amazing food shop/deli Partridges. It's super easy to get to from my house so my boyfriend and I thought we should make the most of our weekend and made the short journey there, instead of doing what we do most weekend which is watching New Girl and eating our body weight in crisps.
This is the sort of outfit I tend to wear on a more day to day basis and I always want to try and make the outfits I post on here more realistic, but I'm not sure if anyone would find that interesting. If you'd like to see more casual outfits please do let me know, as I'm more than happy to pose up a storm in a pair of jeans and trainers!

Like my last post this outfit is pretty casual and something that I would wear on a more everyday basis. This outfit would be perfect for the autumn months and for those of you starting back at university or college. For the cooler summer months you could replace the beanie and jumper for a cami top and statement necklace. I absolutely love wearing my frilly socks and teaming them with trainers like Nike Janoski's or Converse. It's a really great way to add a feminine element to your "tomboy style" outfit.

On Wednesday I took a trip to Oxford Circus with my mum and then met up with a friend from uni for drinks and dinner in Soho. We went to B-Soho where they were having happy hour from 4:30-7, if you're in London around this time it's a really great place to go and the drinks aren't too expensive during this time either! We decided to have dinner at one of my favourite restaurants Bill's, although B-Soho also does really amazing pizza's (another place added to my mental "must-go-here" list.)
There won't be a post next week as I'm lucky enough to be going to Barcelona for a week. So you can expect a few posts about what I got up to, outfit of the day and maybe even a hotel review.
