UK Lifestyle blog consisting of fashion, Travel and Interviews!

Inspired by my spring picks blog post I decided to put together a super casual but girly outfit together featuring my new pink jacket from Bellfield clothing*. Styled with a few of my most loved/worn pieces in my wardrobe, I opted for my high waisted ASOS ridley jeans, a blue cropped fluffy jumper from Topshop and a battered pair of Vans. All part of my attempt to try and achieve the ultimate effortless look. Making this outfit perfect for when the April showers hit, and living in the UK I have a pretty good feeling that they will! Although I know this outfit doesn't put me in any style competition to be the next Blonde Salad, I do know that this is something that I will genuinely wear and hopefully a few of you would too. I spotted the pink car below and knew I had to do include it in an outfit post as it matched my pink coat so perfectly! If this jacket is a little too sugary sweet for you, Bellfield clothing also have they have some really lovely pieces on their site I particularly like the Dandelion and Wisteria skirts!

Like my last post this outfit is pretty casual and something that I would wear on a more everyday basis. This outfit would be perfect for the autumn months and for those of you starting back at university or college. For the cooler summer months you could replace the beanie and jumper for a cami top and statement necklace. I absolutely love wearing my frilly socks and teaming them with trainers like Nike Janoski's or  Converse. It's a really great way to add a feminine element to your "tomboy style" outfit.

On Wednesday I took a trip to Oxford Circus with my mum and then met up with a friend from uni for drinks and dinner in Soho. We went to B-Soho where they were having happy hour from 4:30-7, if you're in London around this time it's a really great place to go and the drinks aren't too expensive during this time either! We decided to have dinner at one of my favourite restaurants Bill's, although B-Soho also does  really amazing pizza's (another place added to my mental "must-go-here" list.)

There won't be a post next week as I'm lucky enough to be going to Barcelona for a week. So you can expect a few posts about what I got up to, outfit of the day and maybe even a hotel review.
