It's August!

 

Now I am fully aware I may have gone a little bit pattern crazy in this post so I can only apologise for how your eyes must be feeling right now. I picked up this tile print dress from Topshop when I went on my mini shopping spree a few weeks ago. It's now sold out on the site but I've popped a few alternatives in the shopping widget below, if you can't see it try turning off your Google ad blocker! I really love the open back detail on this dress I think it makes it a bit more special for such a casual dress. Even though you can't see them I wore my black Puma classics with this dress, which I thought would be a perfect look for a festival like Lovebox.

 

I've decided to add a bit of a beauty section to this weeks post, as something I love just as much as clothes is make up. I've actually had to put myself on a make up ban recently as my make up drawers were ready to burst so I've only been repurchasing the essentials. This look is something that is pretty much my go to look: winged eyeliner, nude lips, lots of highlighter and a bronze eye shadow. I'm always inspired by the gorgeous, glowy and feline make up style of the sixties. My make up Pinterest board is full of this sort of look, you don't already follow me here! My sister gave me the Sleek contour and blush palette in the shade light for my birthday and I LOVE IT. I've worn is pretty much everyday since I got it and it always makes my skin look flawless, even my boyfriend noticed! It's always sold out at my local Boots and Superdrug so if you can get your hands on it, buy it. You won't regret it.
