"60 minutes of pure indulgence, inspired by nostalgic comforts and the sweetest memories, consisting of a luxurious full-body exfoliation and hydrating rose serum treatment"
A few months ago I hopped on a tube a to Sloane Square and practically ran up the road to the Kings Road Lush shop as I had booked myself in for a treatment. For my birthday I was kindly given a Lush voucher to treat myself with, and I picked The Comforter which is an absolutely amazing treatment. This was my second time and it was just as good as the first. I don't want to go into too much detail about it all as I want to keep some elements of it a surprise if you do fancy booking yourself in, but be prepared to feel unbelievably cosy. I actually visited on one of the hottest days of the year and still LOVED it. The therapist at the spa is incredibly nice and I feel so bad but I can't remember her name, however she made me feel so relaxed and must be one of the happiest people in the world! I was already unwinding before the experience had even began.
On the website they describe it as "Welcome to a world of pure imagination, full of candyfloss, bittersweet cacao kisses and dripping chocolate. First, an indulgent, hot chocolate scrub to cloud you in the heavenly ministrations of massage, then a bubbling rose serum, hot, rich and dripping on your skin, euphorically floral for your body to savour. How amazing does that sound? The hot chocolate body scrub smells incredible, think of the most rich chocolately smell you can imagine and times it by 100, it's insane, it smells better than a bar of your favourite chocolate! So if you fancy treating yourself or have someone in your life that could really do with a pick me up I'd highly recommend booking this as a special treat. They have so many other treatments on offer too, I've heard very good things about the Hard Days Night, so maybe if I ever get bored of The Comforter I'll give that one a try!
P.S Please forgive the image quality of this post, these were all quickly shot on my iphone!
