As you may or may not have noticed I've been a little bit M.I.A from the blogging scene for the last month or so. This is due to the time of year when the amount of university work I have to do just gets a little bit too much and blogging gets left behind. After a very stressful month I'm back and I thought I'd show you what I've been up to. I took these photos for this project at Holborn Studios again, with the lovely Zuzanna from SUPA model management. The theme behind the images was to look at "tomboy"styling, so I wanted to keep the hair and make-up very natural. I'm pretty pleased with how they've come out the first and fifth are my favourites. I just wish I had taken more photos from the shoot!

It's coming up to the exam period for us university students as I'm sure most of you are all too aware. Although I don't have any exams my big hand in date is quickly approaching. I did another photoshoot with a friend of mine as part of this hand in - I'm looking for male models if any of you know any for my next photoshoot. Again with these photos the theme is 90s, I hope this comes across in the styling and editing as I've had a nightmare editing some of these!

These are a few snaps of my most recent project I've been working on as part of my second year at university. I've been given the theme of forever young, so I went back to my childhood (and I'm sure many of yours) in the nineties, and revisited some of its fashion trends. I really struggled to find good indoor locations for fashion photography until I thought of using a games arcade in London. I don't think we were really allowed to photograph here but I couldn't resist risking it anyway. I think the lighting works quite well with my given theme and in the photographs. I used my beautiful friend and amazing blogger, Liv to test out my ideas. I'd love to know what you think or if you have any ideas for future projects in the comments below. For those of you wondering, the images were also styled by me and clothing is a mixture of Livs own, vintage, Primark and Topshop.

I recently photographed the gorgeous Gemma and Jazmine from Jazzabelle's diary in Battersea Park which has got to be one of my favourite places to photograph. I'd love to hear what you think as it's great to get feedback to whether people like my photographs or not. I am trying to take more photographs to improve on my technique and to actually become a better photographer overall. However I think the girls look amazing and considering Jazmine's photo shoot was very last minute, I think they came out quite well. So here are a few of my favourites.

I study photography at university and this year I have chosen to look at fashion photography, so when I was set my most recent project there was only one girl that I knew who could do the job. One of my best friends Liv, or as many of you know her as "What Olivia Did" and if you don't know her blog (where have you been for the last few years?) I would seriously recommend checking it out, It's a fantastic read! So here are a few photographs that I have got round to editing and thought I could share with you, I'd love to know what you think, the first, second and sixth are my favourite.
P.S just to let you know the accessories seen in this shoot are mainly from Accessorize, Primark or are Liv's own.
I have been a huge fan of Tim Walker's work for a good few
years now, it all started when I choose to explore the theme of fantasy for my
A level photography. So when I saw that Somerset House were hosting an
exhibition of his work I knew I had to go. The exhibition is amazing, it
combines props, photographs and words beautifully to show the audience a real insight to
him and how he goes about producing his work. I've never been to an exhibition
where I have felt like I am part of one of the artist's photographs. The
exhibition is free and is on right up until the 27th January so you have ages
to go and see it, but I recommend you go sooner rather than later as you really
do not want to miss out!

After the amazing exhibition we headed to Soho for out first trip to the lovely Breakfast Club cafe , I had the veggie all American Pancakes which had pancakes
(obviously), eggs, veggie sausage, mushrooms, home-style fried potatoes and
maple syrup (see photo below). It was my first time having eggs for ages and I
was pleasantly surprised that I didn't hate them as much as I thought I would.
My boyfriend went for the Half Monty which had Bacon, sausage, eggs, beans,
tomato and toasted multigrain bloomer. There were so many things on the menu I
wanted to try; I definitely will have to be take a trip there again. As a
vegetarian there are plenty of things to choose from, the next two on my list are the breakfast burrito and
the fantastically named "when Halloumi met Salad wrap", I highly recommend this place!
