Let's start off by addressing just quite how extra this outfit is, and I love it. I feel like I could be a long lost member of Little Mix, my dream always was to be in a girl band... so I'll just continue to dress like I'm in one for the time being. The detail in this co-ord is just lovely, the choice of turquoise, baby pink and gold sequins threaded through all of the other embellishments is so unique. I remember when I was about 14 I fell in love with those sequin dresses from All Saints, and my desire to be covered in sequins hasn't ever subsided. I found it on the River Island site, this co-ord is an online exclusive too, so it'll be a special secret for us online shopping addicts. River Island are a brand I don't look at enough, but whenever I do have a look there's always a stand out piece that is so different from anything else on the high street. The collection they recently created with Holly Fulton was so fun! Make sure you follow me on Instagram for more sparkles, sequins & sunshine.
This piece was created in collaboration with the team at River Island. However all thoughts about girl bands, sequins and sparkles are my own.

Beauty was my first blogging love, so although these
posts don’t always do as well, I still love to share my thoughts on some of the latest
products I’ve been testing out. We're all always after that summer glow and perfect glowing skin, here are a few products that I hope to help you feel a little bit more fabulous over the next few months.
My perfume collection has recently exploded and if you’d like to see a blog post just on that then do let me know. A new favourite of mine is Daisy Dream (Twinkle), I love the packaging for all of the Daisy perfumes, and this one is just as cute! The perfume has notes of black cherry, white flowers and berry mouse. The first time I sprayed this I was instantly hit with a juicy fruity smell and it instantly matched with the summers day warming up my bedroom. Get yourself down to a beauty department and try this for yourself, I'm just sure you're going to love it. I have to say Marc Jacobs do summery scents just so well, their limited edition perfume rain is one of my all time favourites.
At least every couple of weeks I aim to swap out my eye-shadow palettes in my make up bag so I make sure I try to use them all equally, and it gives me a chance to try out lots of different looks. The Chanel eye-shadow palette was part of a limited edition collection back in 2016 but it's only taken me until the last few months, to actually use it. The colours are really buildable and blend out nicely. This quad would be perfect for olive-darker skin tones or people with brown eyes, but despite having none of those lovely qualities I still use it anyway! I've never used anything from Chanel before, and as much as I've enjoyed these shadows they're not cruelty free so I don't think I'm likely to buy anything new from them.
To get the ultimate glowing look, skin care is key. I have recently become mildly obsessed with Glam Glow products, after hearing Tati Westbrook raving about them for years, I was excited to try something from them. First is the Glam Glow Gravitymud firming treatment mask, there's only a few masks that visibly show changes immediately and this is one of them. Glam Glow's products are made without parabens, sulfates and phthalates, so you have piece of mind that you're not adding anything harmful to your face. After the mask has been on for 20-30 minutes you can peel off (which is beyond satisfying) and see the results. The first time I used this I was genuinely surprised and thrilled with the results. I have the limited edition Sonic the Hedgehog version but you can buy you can still buy the standard version too! P.S Make sure you throw away the used mask into the bin and not down the sink or the toilet, it's better for the environment.
If you're already a fan of Glam Glow products I would also highly recommend giving the glowstarter moisturiser a try. When I came into work I got so many compliments on how my skin was looking, someone even mentioned that I looked like I was glowing, in the best way possible too. I have the shade nude glow.
For body glow I couldn't recommend the Amazing Radiance Body Glow by Rosie for Autograph more, not only are all M&S beauty products cruelty free. This is also paraben free and suitable for vegetarian and vegans. I wore this on NYE and got so many compliments, a few of my friends asked if I had fake tan as this does give a really gorgeous subtle tint to the skin. I'm such a huge fan of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and I do trust what she puts her name to.
I hope you’re all enjoying the sunny weather (or rain, you never know with English weather)! I’m still in that winter/spring phase where I’m not quite sure what wear as the weather changes so much, but thought I’d share these snaps that I shot at the weekend.
I don't love getting my legs out that much and would rather wear a pair of tights but sometimes you've just got to go bare legged. There's so many amazing dresses and playsuits online at the moment that I couldn't resist buying this one from ASOS. I have a holiday to Crete at the end of the month and I think it'll be so perfect for that, plus it's my birthday in June too, so this might be my birthday dress! I just love all of the beautiful bright colours, I've not seen anything else like this online - such a unique piece.
Right, I'm now off to have another browse on ASOS (of course), online shopping never ends! Have a lovely week!

I'll be honest I needed a bit of a break from London, work and blogging/social media. That may sound silly as I'm not a full time blogger, but as I'm trying to put more effort into my blog its hard to know what to write and create each week. So I didn't post last week, I escaped the city and packed up my bags and had a break in an amazing Airbnb in the Cotswolds. As soon as I arrived I felt inspired to start taking photos, uploading to Instagram and writing blog posts again. As I'm sure many of you will understand, working in a creative industry can make it tricky to come up with ideas for your own platforms as you use up all of your creativity at work. I absolutely love my job, it's incredibly fun, I work with some lovely people and I get to be creative on a day to day basis but generating ideas all of the time can be hard. So breaks like these are truly well deserved and are just what I need to recharge my brain and creativity. The apartment/flat that we stayed in made me feel like we were staying in a little hideaway an author would use to write their next book, and in some ways I guess it was true, as that author/creator was me! I will hopefully be doing a little flat tour blog post so look out for that in the near future.
Last week I finally got to visit Dreamland in Margate. After seeing all over Instagram last summer when it opened it again after TWELVE years, it's fair to say it's been on my 'to visit' list for a little while. So I was thrilled to find out that my work away day was going to be there, to make the day even better we were going on the hottest day of the year so far. It was the perfect opportunity to escape the humid city and hop on a train to Margate. We visited Dreamland on the first day of the year so sadly a few of the attractions weren't open yet, including the big wheel. However it was everything you would hope it to be and more, filled with retro rides, a cute little ice-cream van, pastel colours everywhere and vintage arcade games (there was even a Rolling Stones one!) You can find Dreamland located just a 10 minute walk from the station and practically a hop skip and a jump away from the beach! The amusement park is described on their website as 'More than just brilliant retro rides and amusements. Dreamland is a world where vintage cool holds hands with modern design, and goes for a lovely beach side stroll.' This summer they're introducing music again to the park including a night with Blur's Dave Rowntree! A true 90's dream!
Of course as I'm writing this blog post it's absolutely chucking it down with rain but June is here which means it's summer!! As you may have seen in my last blog post I went to Brighton a few weeks ago and whilst I was there I popped into Zara and found this pink leather jacket. I had seen it on Instagram a week before and knew it had to be mine, as soon as I knew where it was from I went straight to the Zara site then found out it was sold out online. So when I saw this in the Brighton store I practically jumped for joy and raced straight to the tills. With the weather being so unpredictable at the moment this pink leather jacket is the perfect thing to take along with you on days and evenings out. I was a little bit scared that I wasn't going to wear it that much but I've worn it 4 days in a row in the last week so I'm glad I've been getting some good wear out of it!
Another piece I've been loving is this month is this striped dress from Lazy Oaf, I have absolutely been loving their latest collections. Every time an email pops into my inbox I fall in love with something else from their new range. I can't wait to see what else they're going to release over the next few months, as everything has been so good recently.
Rather ironically after writing about clothes for so long I'm actually on a spending ban for the whole of June. I tried to do wardrobe clear out but failed as I still wanted to keep everything! However I would love to know about your favourite places to shop as I'm off on holiday in July and I keep on finding myself placing ASOS orders and being disappointed with my order once it arrives. Let me know your favourite shops in the comments below!

One of the few reasons I haven't published a fashion post recently is that I've simply been enjoying the sunshine during my weekends off from work. It has however given me the time to really relax and spend time with my family and friends, and that’s what summer truly is about. Whilst enjoying the sunshine I felt a sudden pang of excitement for my holiday in September to Barcelona. It seems like every blogger is going the Barcelona, it’s obviously the place to be this summer! So with a little help from Matalan I've put together the perfect look for an evening out, something a bit fancy but still comfortable enough to wear when it’s hot. After deciding on a 60s/70s inspired number from the Abbey Clancy range I teamed it with a pair of vintage style sunglasses from their holiday shop. This dress is totally out of my comfort zone and something that I would never usually go for because of the high neck. But, I decided to bite the bullet and be a little adventurous for once and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually suited me! Finally, adding my new favourite pair of heels from Kurt Geiger and my D bracelet from Kate Spade to complete the look.
P.S Some of you long time readers might recognise my background as I used to shoot my outfit posts in my garden for such a long time but left as I found a new spot. However I decided to bring it back for this post and I quite like how it's turned out, what do you think?

Festival fashion can be tricky as you want to be able to feel and look your best but you unfortunately can't bring your whole wardrobe with you. So to help you out I've put together an edit of my favourite pieces available online right now including picks from Misguided, Topshop, Boohoo and a few other retailers. For those of you who are like me and aren't going to a festival this year, I've tried to pick some pieces that you'll be able to wear all summer long. I particularly love the spotty maxi dress and tasseled bag both from Miss Selfridge. I also think the embellished dress from Asos is just so gorgeous and will look amazing with a tan, perfect to wear on summer nights out! I might just add this to my birthday wishlist, (which is in June but I truly believe you can never be too prepared!) P.S For those of you who are unable to see my picks below, you'll need to turn off Google ad blocker as it blocks the widget below!

Last week when the sun was shining I went to my local park with three of my university gal pals for a picnic and some cheeky alcoholic drinks. We took a well deserved break from the stress of third year exams and coursework to catch up and have some fun. We had such a fun afternoon/evening and I'll definitely be doing it again as soon as the sun comes out! This is the perfect activity to do if you're a student like me and on a bit of a budget to do something fun with your friends or need date inspiration. I've had these cute pink paper straws and popcorn boxes sitting in my room for ages and this was the perfect excuse to use them (I got mine from Ebay)! We ate, laughed and drank until the sun began to set and it got too cold for us to bear, and decided to go back home where we continued to talk the night away...
