I had so many photos from Magic Kingdom I decided to make it its own blog post. I was lucky enough to visit Disney World over Halloween and then on my last trip to Magic Kingdom it was ready for Christmas. It was lovely to be able to catch both of their festive decorations! I’d really recommend visiting towards the end of October and into early November as you'll be able to take part in Halloween and Christmas like me, plus the wait times really weren’t so bad. During my visit I got to go onto my two favourite rides Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, I think the wait times for these were under 20 minutes which is amazing. If rides aren't your thing there's so much else to do, during one of the days I caught The Muppets performing, and I got to see the daily parade. Disney is known for it's amazing treats, I tried a couple that I spotted on instagram including the Mickey cinnamon bun, Mickey Pretzel and my boyfriend had the candy corn ice-cream. The cinnamon bun arrived warm and it was so delicious. Easily my favourite thing I had! I was desperate to try one of the rice crispy treats but they all had gelatin in sadly, maybe one day they'll be a vegetarian version.
The highlight of my trip was the happily ever after fireworks, they were the best I’ve ever seen. We found a spot around an hour before they started and it was quickly filling up in the park. The projections on the castle were incredible and they made sure to include everyone’s favourite films. For Moana they even designed fireworks to look like her boat symbol! My favourite part was when they went through the Pixar films as these are my favourite Disney films. I took so many photos, I couldn’t help myself it was simply stunning and super colourful!

Hello, here's my second Orlando blog post. I've decided to split them up into two as they were getting a little photo heavy and the writing was getting lost. So expect my Magic Kingdom post very soon, but for now here's Hollywood Studios & Epcot!
Hollywood Studios:
I love Toy Story, so I was very excited that I was able to see the brand new Toy Story Land! Out of all of the mini worlds in the whole of the Disney World, this was my favourite. I absolutely loved all of the bright colours and general vibe of the area. We went to Hollywood Studios on a Saturday so it was much busier than the other days we'd be been at the parks, Toy Story Land in particular was very busy. We had to wait for just over an hour and half for the Slinky Dog Dash but in my opinion it was completely worth it. It was faster than I thought it would be, but so much fun! When you're waiting in line there's so much to look at. The Toy Story Mania Ride is really fun, again so much has been thought about and you totally feel like you've been shrunk down. This experience is a 3D series of video games all themed around the film. Plus after you've had plenty of fun here, make sure you get yourself a seat for the Fantasmic show, it's not one to miss!
Epcot:
This was a bit of a throwback to the 80's/90s, I felt like I had gone into a time warp. Before I caught the fireworks I went on the Riding Nemo ride which was super cute, I'm such a big fan of the Pixar films, they're always incredible well done with such a positive message. I also went on Soarin' Around the World, which was so much fun. I really felt like I was flying, so much so that I even screamed a few times. After we went to the international pavilions, it was during the height of their annual food & wine festival so it was pretty busy. It was incredible how they'd managed to create so many realistic cities from across the world, I didn't sample of the food sadly but I can imagine how much fun this would be if you planned ahead. On the night we visited, Boys to Men were performing as part of eat to the beat show and it was filled with screaming fans! I absolutely loved seeing the fireworks and display, it's amazing that they do this every single night. I stood to the right of the Mexico area and had a great view, I may have even got a little emotional. This girl looooves fireworks.
Recently I sat down for a late afternoon tea with the team at PANDORA to hear all about their new collaboration with Disney, which you've seen in a sneak peek in my outfit post here. We chatted about the collection over the Tale As Old As Time Afternoon Tea at The Kensington Hotel, which as I'm sure you've guessed by the title of this post the tea is Beauty and the Beast themed. Could you think of a better seating for the launch?
The afternoon tea was a feast for the eyes as much as it was for our tummies. I loved the attention to detail put into it, there was a vanilla and gold jelly which had captured a rose petal inside to imitate the iconic rose in the bell jar, how clever is that? If that wasn't magical enough, the jelly is then drowned in cream poured straight from Mrs Potts Sprout. So fun! One of my favourite treats from the night was the fresh brioche served with a nutty chocolate spread and apricot jam, this is the alternative to the traditional scones to give an authentic french twist! Another favourite was "the grey stuff" as recommended by Lumiere, which was a scrumptious white chocolate mousse. The perfect sweet to eat in front of the fire on a crisp winters night.
We ate lots of cakes and nibbled on plenty of sandwiches whilst getting distracted by all of the sparkly jewellery around us. I think my favourite pieces from the collection are the Minnie Mouse Ears charm and the Thumper charm as I am obsessed with rabbits! I'm sure you'll agree that the range is super sweet, and everyone knows someone who LOVES Disney. Guaranteed to make a thoughtful and magical gift for Christmas!
These are a few snaps of my most recent project I've been working on as part of my second year at university. I've been given the theme of forever young, so I went back to my childhood (and I'm sure many of yours) in the nineties, and revisited some of its fashion trends. I really struggled to find good indoor locations for fashion photography until I thought of using a games arcade in London. I don't think we were really allowed to photograph here but I couldn't resist risking it anyway. I think the lighting works quite well with my given theme and in the photographs. I used my beautiful friend and amazing blogger, Liv to test out my ideas. I'd love to know what you think or if you have any ideas for future projects in the comments below. For those of you wondering, the images were also styled by me and clothing is a mixture of Livs own, vintage, Primark and Topshop.
After reading about the Harrods Disney Princess shop windows all over fashion blogs and websites, I knew I had to go and see these windows for myself and I was not disappointed! Without sounding too cheesy the displays were so magical, they summed up each princess perfectly. A range of different designers have come together to re-create some of the famous dresses worn by the princesses for this display. My favourite easily is the Aurora dress by Ellie Saab, it is absolutely stunning! Other designers include Roberto Cavallai - Pocahontas, Ralph & Russo - Tiana from Princess and the Frog and Jenny Packham - Rapunzel.
Obviously since I was in the area I had to pay the shop itself a visit, although Harrods at times can be a little bit over the top, I love its food court! Everything looks amazing, I could spend hours looking inside the glass counters reading about what's inside and what I could try out. One of my favourite sections in the court is the bakery, which for Harrods is supisingly affordable and they have their Christmas treats out now too, I quite like the look of orange and chocolate scone!
And from fictional princesses to a real life one! I loved this Barbie Kate and Wills wedding day Carriage set, which you can buy here, it did make me giggle. I hope you enjoyed this slightly festive post and I would seriously recommend taking a trip Harrods to see the shop windows, its even better in real life.
