UK Lifestyle blog consisting of fashion, Travel and Interviews!

1. Essie - Fiji nail polish
Most beauty bloggers have had this as part of their monthly favourite for the last couple of months so it's been a slightly tricky polish to get hold of and you can see why. It's such a lovely nude shade perfect for the summer; it'll look great with a tan (if England ever gets any sun) and will go well with all your outfits and jewellery, as you won't have an issue with clashing colours.

2. Benefit - Hoola bronzer
Just like the NARS Laguna bronzer this has been on my imaginary beauty wish list for a while, after using at a friend’s house when I was 16 and I have wanted it ever since! I love benefit's vintage packaging and just the name sounds appealing.

3. Marc Jacobs - Dot fragrance
This is the latest fragrance by Marc Jacobs and is already causing quite a stir on blogs; it's said to have notes of dragon fruit, red berries, honeysuckle and a hint of coconut. The scent is perfect for summer as it's so fruity and apparently has a real beachy and exotic feel to it. I really dislike the smell of coconut but I’m intrigued to smell this as the notes are an interesting combination, not to mention it has such a gorgeous bottle!

4. the Balm -  Nude ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette
the Balm is an American brand who similarly to Benefit have amazing vintage/retro style packaging, which is what first caught my eye and intrigued me to look further into the brand. This palette was the first product I had heard about from the brand and I think if I was to buy anything from them it would be this! Online the palette has been compared to the Urban Decay Naked palette as it is based around nude/neutral shades. It's quite expensive but has been rated quite highly on beauty sites, so I think it's definitely a good investment piece!

5. Make up Forever - Full Cover Concealer
Again another American brand and product that seems to be very popular with beauty bloggers, I’ve not heard many bad things about Make Up Forever other than that the products are hard to get hold of for UK buyers and that when choosing a shade for your skin they can darken once applied, so be wary of that! The concealer is supposed to be a really amazing full coverage and buildable concealer. I'm really into my concealers and I’m always looking for new ones to try so I’m definitely going to have to try this one!

6. Tesco - Tired leg spray
Makeup artist Hayley Fell posted this on her Instragram and as I currently work in retail I am not stranger to getting tired legs after working 9 hour shifts. So I was intrigued to see what this was and if it actually works and apparently it does and is only £3 from Tesco's!

P.s I've done a slight update on my blog, so you can now use the links/tab at the top, to select to look at all of my past beauty, fashion or recipe posts!

As an avid watcher of beauty bloggers on YouTube I’ve seen this tag be passed around quite a lot by bloggers such as Vivianna Does MakeupZoella and llymlrs, so I thought I’d give it ago myself but this time as a blog post, as I don't think I’m quite ready for my YouTube debut. These are products that I’ve either used up completely or very near to finishing.

Bathroom:
  • Miracle Moist Aussie Conditioner - I've loved using this conditioner, I took it on holiday to Kavos with me and just fell in love with it, it’s so conditioning and it smells so amazing, I’m completely addicted to this!
  • Moringa shower gel from The Body Shop, again a product that I love because it smells so good, I’ve never heard of Moringa so when I got given a set of body shop mini shower gels I was intrigued to try it and ever since then I’ve just been obsessed with it. I'm going to be sad once I’ve finished this so I'm using it sparingly and I may have to buy the full size.
  • Pink grapefruit shower gel again from The Body Shop, (there seems to be a theme here with my bathroom empties) I love anything that smells like pink grapefruit although I’m not keen on the fruit itself. This is such a good product as this has lasted me a few months as you don't need too much as it lathers up really well.

Make-up:

  • MAC pro longwear concealer - This is something I’ll re-purchase over and over again it's my favourite concealer ever (well, so far!)
  • Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation - Again a product that I can't recommend enough, it suits my skin type so well and lasts me all month, although this product doesn't look empty it is, I had a lot of trouble with getting product out of the bottle!
  • Benefit mini High Beam - I got this mini sample free with a glamour magazine ages ago and have only just finished it, it’s lasted me a good while! I would get this again but I was recently given Benefit's Sunbeam highlighter for my birthday and so I’m currently using & loving that.
  • 17 supreme shine nail varnish – in the shade simply pink, such a good product for such little money! I love this colour, it does need a few coats for the colour to become really opaque but it's such a lovely baby pink shade, definitely in my top 5 nail varnishes.

Perfume:

Daisy & Daisy Garland both by Marc Jacobs: I received the original daisy perfume for my 16th birthday and Daisy garland for my 18th birthday, these perfumes have lasted me ages and I’ve only just come to the end with them, the scent is quite strong and lasts quite a while which is good as you don't need to top yourself up too often. To be honest I can't tell that there is much difference between the two scents, or if there was even meant to be a difference? I do like these perfumes but I’m not sure if I’d buy them for myself.
It's my 20th birthday in less than a month (27th June to be exact) and I was thinking about what I would like to have for my birthday, this list is a bit unrealistic but I can dream! I was thinking about asking for things for my bedroom as I am moving house soon and want to make my bedroom look really girly and cosy, but I think I can buy those things myself over the summer. A few things on the list I have wanted for ages and others are new found loves of mine. My top 3 gifts on the list have to be the Mulberry bracelet, Burberry Perfume which smells amazing and may even beat my  current favourite scent Chloe by Chloe and the gorgeous bronzing highlighter Benefit Sun Beam.
